				 se5 JunkYardWars
I've finally got around to updating JYW for SEV.
you can find version 0.04 on PBW as a zip file or on se.net as a .7z

I've set up a PBW game called SE5 "JunkYardWars II" I'll get this started once people have had a little time to play around with the mod and find any bugs I might have missed.

JYW is based on balance mod with a few tweaks here and there.
I've removed Intel temporarily and added some half sized engines to give a little more flexibility to ship design.

link to download on se.net:

link to se5 multimedia pack:
http://mmp.spaceempires.net/download.php
note that you only need the component pack from the se5 multimedia pack for this version of JYW.

Its the format used by the open source 7-zip . WinRAR will open it. |

				 Re: se5 JunkYardWars
basically I've joined fyron's crusade against ZIP, zip's compression ratio is crap. I didn't use rar because I'm not terribly fond of winrar, and 7-zip does not create rar, (it will open them however) and like fyron already said, winrar will open .7z

File size, beyond 'archived', is of little nessasary interest to a downloader with cable or DSL. Download speeds tend to be one of 'Get yourself a sandwich/drink', 'Time for lunch' or 'Hey, wonder what's on tv' as far as the downloader is concerned.
For the guy who has to pay for the hosting and bandwidth, archive efficiency is more important.
