What time on Sunday do we start? I still feel a bit crummy, but early game 5-10 minute turns shouldn't be too bad.

We are up and running!
I won't start the clock until everyone has taken at least one turn, then it will be set to 24-h quickhost.
So, Yvali, take your time, you won't stale the first turn. I was just setting things up so maybe you could take two turns in a row when you log on.

Hm, are you sure 24 hour hosting is up? I played my turn yesterday, and when I log in today, it tells me there are 20 hours left.

Oh, yeah, sorry I forgot to mention that I re-set the timer. I didn't want anyone to stale. When it gets close to the end of the time, I get nervous. It seems like we should be able to avoid people staling on turn 2, heh.
Although perhaps we should just switch to 48-h quickhost and have it be a firm deadline. Although when that happens, I think people say "Oh I can take my turn tomorrow." I think people will take their turns faster with a 24-h clock, even if I am going to extend it if they don't. I'm not sure.
Instead of extending it like that, I should turn off the timer and pm the people who haven't taken their turns yet, I think.

let's just hope people show a little commitment and finish their turns within 24 hours. Maybe switch to 48 from turn 20?

Hmm, I can't seem to get into the server now. It gets stuck at "Waiting for game info" whenever I try to log in. Tried 3 times so far, including deleting the save game. Is anyone else having connection issues?
