Re: Bump in Appreciation of Gandalf Parker
just so people understand something, not all teenagers are bad or rude. I was one of the people who lost games because of the crash, and i never complained once about it, i just took it and wait for them to start up again.

Re: Bump in Appreciation of Gandalf Parker
hunt11,
yes, you're right.
Sorry for my rant. I sincerely apologize if I have hurt some people. I really do.
Nothing agains youngs ... except beeing younger than me of course
It not belongs to age, but to people's state of mind.
I can only say that I see great excesses these days, at least in France, with people who only know free Internet, and who believe that evething must be free and accessible immediatly. No patience, no gratefullness, and too often, no respect for other people. And I see it very often in public forums (hopefully NOT here!).
Same apply in the everyday life in general.
But I believe that my parents said it about us when I was young, and my gran parents about my parents, and so on
Well, again, I apologize for my rant.
I suggest that this subject will remain private by now.
If you want to complain, you can in private messages

Re: Bump in Appreciation of Gandalf Parker
I like Gandalf so much I named my first son "Parker". My second son, "Llamabeast" (ok... that one is just a nickname).

ROFL
I will have to tell my son that. He and I have been frequent in other peoples conversations about the pros and cons of having a unique name. Gandalf is actually my middle name. My first name is Anthony. I grew up with Tony, then started using my middle name about the time I left home. My son on the other hand is Anthony Elrond Mithrandir Parker. We called him Mith when he was growing up. When he hit his teens he started making everyone call him Anthony.
Believe me, DONT saddle your son with Gandalf. Parker would be problems but not nearly as much as Gandalf.

Indeed. Saddling him with "Prophet" would be much more efficent.

But you really can't leave out the "our world's most beloved hero" part.

Re: Bump in Appreciation of Gandalf Parker
Gandalf, tough break dude. Sending someone a nasty email while their server's crashed just strikes me as similar to kicking them while they're down, i.e. not on.
