OT-favorite movie lines
"I guess that concludes negotiations" - Gimli
(Stated after Aragorn decapitated Sauron's emissary outside the Black Gate).
Movie-Return of the King.
Dominions analogy: "Your offer of a 3 turn nap is hereby rejected."

Re: OT-favorite movie lines
"that which does not kill us, makes us stranger"
Originally an Aeon Flux quote, from the second full length episode, I believe. The Joker also says it in the new Batman, I'd say its more of an easter egg there than a rip-off; they knew their inspirations, and cult influences of the mid-90's were very prominent. In fact, I found the same interplays, juxtapostions, and themes from Aeon Flux were all touched upon in that movie. I smelled a little Twisted Metal too; but that's probably just the psycho clown.

"Those who reject the path to enlightment must be destroyed"
Stargate SG1. Fits perfectly to ascension wars.

Re: OT-favorite movie lines
no, the best analogy to the ascension wars:
"We are Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Your culture will adapt to service ours." Star Trek-First Contact.

"It's no great thing to make a lot of money if all you want to do is make a lot of money" - Citizen Kane
Pretty obvious how that applies to dom3.

Re: OT-favorite movie lines
Check my signature for a favorite movie line which blends nicely with Dominions_3 as pretenders battle for godhood.
The movie was of course... Highlander
I recall Highlander generated not only movie sequels, but at least two television series. Not many movies can boast the same fame history.

Re: OT-favorite movie lines
"It's a hell of a thing, killin' a man. You take everything he's got, and everything he ever will have."
As close to the line as I can recall off the top of my head, Clint Eastwood says it near the end of Unforgiven and it's always stuck with me. Love Don Corazon's Usual Suspects quote as well, one of my fave movies. Though the Dark Knight is swiftly climbing my list! So here's one from the Joker you guys can feel free to use on an MP opponent that you are about to wipe out:
"You were a schemer. You had plans. And look where that got ya'."
