Re: About battle replays
My incident also involved a SC.
I had two thugs, one with 2 or 3 hearts, and a borderline thug/SC. In the replay the wounded thug dies and the second retreated like a sissy. The SC then rather quickly forces the opposing army (indies) to flee.
Never figured out why I lost.
The battleground province was completely free of troops and my two units just marched in and claimed it subsequent turn.

Sure. And he has plenty of Hit Points and is having some fun blinking from one point of the battlefield to another point and exterminating the poor last TC survivors...

mindless units can't retreat, and are eliminated if they should have retreated. It's in the manual somewhere.

Maybe it's linked. BTW my armies (PD) retreated, not the Golem and his Morale 50. I saw another battle where such thing occured : an army retreating and a berseked SC commander staying on the field, killing the ennemies (these ennemies were... me ! ) and conquering the province at least. Maybe the fact that the Golem is mindless interferes with this process in some obscure way/bug ?
What's fun (but OT) is that although mindless, my Golem also is (was...) insane

Re: About battle replays
If you are looking for your Golem, he's working for me on 3rd shift. Please send picture, or I might send the wrong one back.

I found something strange. It could be helpful, maybe.
Game: Manatee
Server: llamaserver
Mods: no
Settings: default
Player: Nifelheim
Turn: 85
Battle in the province West Midden (61)
Battle replay showed a win of my Niefel Jarl against 3 Rudras and one Siddha of Kailasa, but battle report and after-battle situation proved a win of Kailasa. Yandav, who played Kailasa, confirmed in the game thread the same discrepancy between b. replay and b.report in his turn file.
Now, I found the turn file in my backup and watched the battle again. To my surprise the battle replay showed right result!
I installed back version 3.17 and run the battle again with some mods on and off. The battle result was correct. I can't reproduce the bug, but I'm sure it was there.
I think that the bug is not connected with turn file, but I can be wrong.

I had quite an extreme battle replay bug in Kingmaker some turns ago. Should I get through my backups to find that turn? It should be around 10-20 turns ago. Battle report and replay were completely different.

Re: About battle replays
Maybe, this is a wild stab in the dark;
Your SC, being mindless dies if it has no-one to control him(?) dies after the PD retreated. Since PD re-grows if the provice isn't taken over (and it would only be taken over if there was an enemy left after the battle, which there wouldn't be because the mindless desolves(!?) thus leaving the province in the hands of the original owner.
Now I could be wrong about the mindless thing because i'm very green!

Re: About battle replays
Nope, my Golem has been updraged from standard unit to commander via Gift of reason. Thus, he is a stand alone and is able to survive by himself even if no other friendly mages are on the battlefield.

Herode:
Nope, Golems just vanish on turn50. And unfortunately Kristoffers considers it a feature, not a bug. Lost some Golem SCs that way few times. Not nice.
llamabeast:
Ok, I will PM you turn number and where battle occured when I find it. See, some good things about you getting eliminated from KM, you can take a look at turns now
