				 Tank loaded with infantry
When I was playing SP, a friend told me that loading infantry on tanks could protect the tank from infantry assault. How about winSPWWII? Can this work too?
 Best Regards

Not sure but riders might help tank spot marginly better & will dismount & fire back.A poor experience suppresed unit may be spotted by rider & tank before mounts attack so the rider could dismount & take fire instead.
Riding tanks into battle generally not a good idea better to have APCs supporting the tanks as eyes. The act of unloading from the tank means the tanks op fire that turn will be less accurate. Not 100% sure on that test if you like but think thats how it works. Best used to likely point of contact then have them dismount not in front line is my view.

 | Yes. See the Game Guide section "Game Play Notes", paragraph beginning "Even if you are a 'tankie' you will need some infantry about to help you out..." or search that page of the Game Guide for "riders".

Thanks Andy. It seems there is always something you overlook in the GG.
I will only let cheap support units riding tank, and preferably they should go ahead of tank. But perhaps I can use support inf both ahead and on tank, for increased safety.

Then one more question: is # of eyes considered in spotting? I mean, a marksman has only "two eyes" while a scout team can have "8 eyes". Is crew number considered in spotting?

BTW
I got the idea when a support crew who escaped from a destroyed car passed by one of my tank. And I loaded that poor kid onto that tank.

Ironfist | i think it is, i remember reading something about # eyes in the game manual, but your unit is probably going to get shot at if it walks into enemy guns range, unless he has no HE |
