Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
I'd like to purchase bad things to be done to Sauromatia. I'm pretty open to any bad things that anyone wants doing - I've got some gems, items and money left, which I will hapily exchange for such bad things. In addition to turning perhaps some profit, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you hurt a player who is still viable and didn't benefit any of your other enemies, as I'm pretty well dead.
Well played Micah. I will have a post-mortem once I am full and finally dead.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
Oh, how the once proud nation of Abysia has fallen!
Reduced to such mercenary actions, while in its glory days Abysia was so full of hubris that it would not even consider discussing the peaceful return of Sauromarignon's sparking waterfront lands.
And now in its defeat, Abysia publicly spreads open the legs of its treasure vault, for the sole purpose of harming the fine upstanding citizens of Sauromarignon. How shameless.

Tell you what - I'll add some fine monkey lovin' into that same pot.
And, as a freebie, I'll note that there's an Air Queen available for summoning this turn.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
Though I'll tell you what I'm not turned on by - the current turn.
As my partner once told me, "I've got much better things to do than to agonize over submitting turns for this game when I obviously lack the tools to even phase my opponent".
Call it whining, call it whatever you want, I don't care at this point. I've never abandoned a position while I still had the capacity to do my enemies any harm at all. But really that's where it's at now. Before I just start Cloud Trapezing around in a very reckless fashion in my death throes, I'd like to offer up Lanka and Jomon to whoever might be found that can think of funny things to do while you die. Because well, that's what Lanka has left to offer, "funny things to do while you die", and I'm somehow sure that the AI could do more damage in its maniacal fashion, than I can with any clear intent, at this point.
And before anyone opens their mouth to complain, answer the question of whether you have done a single thing to directly impede the rampant and unchecked growth of Midgard. Atul's team is functioning with excellent precision, and that is neither his fault, or anything I am mad about - but Lanka has simply had too many little setbacks, and too long of a game without such a capable teammate, for me to care about at this point at all. The current state of Lanka in this game disgusts me, and I think it would be ridiculous to assume that anyone could feel anything but revulsion for actually running turns under these circumstances.
Just to make a clearer picture for those who are still skeptics- 8/8 commanders lost, and 252/263 units lost. Units killed = 5.
It's not a fight, at this point, it's a hand job, and sadly my frustration with the game runneth over. Sorry.

Yep, that was exactly my position.
Knowing that you were completely unable to affect the outcome in the slightest. You just said it a lot better.

*Chirp* *Chirp *Chirp*
Hrrrrm Its quiet in here. Isn't it about time for someone to start some new propaganda or begging for help or something? Maybe Bogarus will try to sell his mom for a few blood slaves? Or how about Midgards plans to crush the upstart Caleum nations, we all know that ones coming sooner or later, so when is the main event gonna start?

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
I'd like to introduce the new Abyssian minister of Information, Saeed al-Sahaf. Take it away, Saeed.
The cowardly Caelumites are doomed! The lands of Abyssia will be their fiery grave - their skulls will bleach in the hot sun, their bones will crack beneath our hammers, their brains will leak out all over the furnace floor. Even a cowardly retreat (which is in their nature) will not save them now - they are so utterly doomed.
