				 Re: Megagame 2009
I'll personally chime in and say I'd love to play in another megagame. I don't have any hosting experience though, so I doubt I'd be a good host.
Then again, though, I definitely wouldn't drop out; a vet would eat me up. |

				 Re: Megagame 2009
Btw, I have an insane idea about making a different megagame (:What about going 4D, instead of using single-age?
3 (EA,MA,LA) games on the same map. Only nations that are presented in all the 3 eras are allowed. Once a "progenitor" nation is defeated, all the "inheritor" nations are forced to go AI. Admin "Supernation" (representing Pantokrator) is able to transfer gems/slaves/items/whatever through the time.
It could be a very unpredictable, unique, but rather quick teamplay, with a choice of concentrating power in the earlier eras, or risking in the later ones.

It'd definately be an interesting game to play, but it could also run into a few snags quite easily. |

				 Re: Megagame 2009
Both of the other 2 Megagames were before my time in Dom 3 although I did sub Kingmaker for Tir na N'og for a while. I would certainly love to try my hand at a Megagame though.. |

				 Re: Megagame 2009
Honestly, I don't think I have what it takes to organize a megagame, and as was said above, it tends to burn people out. I was just curious if anyone was still interested in the concept again. Maybe some brave soul will come forward to organize it, but it probably won't be me.
The post where I said that I would organize it if 7 vets asked me to do so, should be filed under #5.

				 Re: Megagame 2009
I can not imagine how long it will take for each turn when you have over 100 provinces. So if this game was to be hold, please consider relieving the burden of micro-managemnets for the late game.

				 Re: Megagame 2009
I don't know how Zeldor managed to control his empire in Kingmaker. I was struggling with an empire much smaller than his.
But it was good fun, so I would join in if anyone was to organise one.

				 Re: Megagame 2009
I got to I think 186 provinces and about ~45 forts. But my microing was mostly limited to 100 tartarians and forging items [mostly almost rando mforging and counting if I'm not overflowing my lab]. But if there were not Armageddons I'd probably end with ~1000 mages to script and 80-100 forts. |
