Psychic AI

There are many religious, organic and crystalline AIs out there, but I've noticed very few psychic ones. Are there any special challenges for writing psychic AIs? That's my preferred racial trait and I'm planning to write a sample psychic AI for my own mod.

I cant say that psychis AIs are rare. Talk about Temporary AIs, there is no single AI in my collection that uses temporary technology... oh wait, thats excluding the original Sallega race and.. hmm, the pyrochette.

Anyway most people tend to use organic on their races, others like the psychic or religious for the talisman. Crystalline are rare and so are temporar.

The Ekhazan race (which you can download from my sig) is a Psychic race I created and by this weekend I should be finished with a new Temporal race

Yeah, most people who use any default racial tech at all will use organic. Other than that it's more likely they will make up a custom racial tech. Both Psychic and Temporal are very rarely used, though I'm temped to setup the Borg as a Temporal race. The shield-damaging abilities of the weapons fit well with their capabilities.

Check out a race called the 'Arazoni' (sp?), I believe it is by Alpha Kodiak, it kicks some serious butt.

(and yes, its psychic).
