				 Re: Problem with Llamaserver
Several (three) people have reported that the server has started to fail to send them new turns, although it still does resends fine.
I have no idea why this might be, but the current server is absolutely on its last legs. Its window manager has crashed and it's not even usable directly (I have to login remotely), it's running very slowly, and I daren't restart it because I don't think it will work. However, the new server has arrived and I should be able to switch to it in the next week or so. Hopefully that might fix the issues.

				 Re: Problem with Llamaserver
Thanks for looking into it llamabeast. Awesome stuff from you as usual.
Edit: Like ano below, I have encountered this problem a lot over the past week or so. In fact I can't remember the last time I had an automatic turn from the llamaserver. Only mentioning this in case it helps with any trouble shooting in any way.

Thanks llamabeast. As a side not, I also ran into this problem more than once.

Wow, sounds like the problem is more serious than I thought! Thanks everyone for your patience until I can get it sorted. (I'm also moving house this weekend and starting work on Monday, having handed in my thesis on Friday - busy busy!) |

Tourmaline is gone? We were waiting on one last person to submit their pretender for the game to start and now the game has disappeared from the server. Is there a time limit a game has to fill up by or something? I have no idea what happened here. |

You can read more about it in the Unsanity game thread.

				 Re: Problem with Llamaserver
In this case it was because the .map file had spaces in its name. Neither the .map file nor the .tga/.rgb file can have spaces in its name. I'll do some work on the LlamaServer soon either to fix this or to prevent people from uploading such files, since for some reason there have been a rash of people having this difficulty recently.
As for the turn files not sending, I am getting lots of reports of it now! Very odd, but I hope to get the new server running very soon. Maybe tomorrow or Monday.
