Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
I always wanted to try LA R'lyeh, well I'll give hell to anyone that challenges me.
Will it be a problem that this is a noob game?

Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
Executor has offered to sub in.
Would be cool if you could get his email set in time for the new turn.
Good luck to all the other players.
It was a good game, but they are checking my medications better after the incident and I can't concentrate long enough for the turns.
Err ... I mean
Zukkekon will have changed his mind. About what you ask feeble mortals?
What 'about' he asks back? His old mind is weary. Nothing he had found on this world the starspawn called him upon that is worthy.
The mortals?
They see the world yet they don't perceive it. Faced with the truth, faced with the beauty, they have to deny it, to declare it invalid, void, to not recognize their twisted state, inventing values, rationalizing reasons, making justifications, unlogical, unintuitive, to explain away that they are merely the tools of powerhungry pretenders, and harly worthy of even that. Even with their limited sentience they multiplied to fast through disgusting rituals revolving around tentacles and orifices to be taken lightly.
The starspawn?
They at least understood the basics and used their tentacles correctly.
But they didn't grasp the plan. The littlest details he had to engrave into their mind. He couldn't take it any longer.
A new mind is what he needed. Would his new mind feel the same, act the same? Even he couldn't know, for he could only know his mind.
There might be great changes, there might be none. He didn't care for anything but sleep now.

I wouldn't see it as being that much of a problem. Everyone who is left has been using more advanced tactics and strats and if worse comes to worse we'll just gang up and dogpile you.
Anyhow, the email has been switched and I've delayed the game another 6 hours so that Utgard and Gath have a chance to get their turns in.

Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
People, I think I'll have to drop this game, in fact, I'll probably have to Dominions all together, I'm the phase of moving and currently I practically have no internet access.
I have no idea if I'll settle in a week or a month, or if I'll have reliable internet access even when I finally move.
Sorry to bail right after taking the game but I have no other option. I really think R'lyeh could win this game.

Lol, that would be the 4th R'lyeh player then.
Zukkekon has many minds to be sure.
(edit: Nothing against you Executor, it's just funny.)

Alrighty then. Ill, you good to find yet another replacement or should I put up a thread? Either way I'll delay the game until we find a replacement.

Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
I have to say I lost all my interest in Dom3.
Just don't have the patience to spend hours to figure out how to make battle scripts effective or just plan forging a few turns ahead - and that's essentially what it needs to be a good player.
I got about zero fun from the games I played lately.
Just getting a turn done late and in a very short time.

Re: Noob LA Game: Cataclysm - And Begin!
Yeah, I kinda enjoy the early/mid game a bit more than the late. But I am enjoying this game and have figured out a lot of the mistakes I made earlier on because of it. If you want to find a replacement feel free to do so, you're in a strong enough position that you should be able to find someone fairly quick.
