Unequaled Obesity: Actually a good thing on death-wielding thugs?

I finally found a good occassion to have unequaled obesity. I've heard that this heroic trait usually means instant retirement on thugs but i've found a use for it

the encumberance doesn't matter and you can really pump those hit points when you start with 30 instead of 15.

On an undead with 0 combat enc it can also make for a very useful thug or SC upgrade.

You get both more HPs and strength, and can ignore the enc as long as you don't have spells to cast.
