Raise Dead Questions.
First of all Hi, i've been playing dominions for a year or two and i've got a question thats been bugging me for ages.
What nations/units can use reanimate apart from Ermor?
and second my main nation LA Atlantis, i'm sure that at one point I was able to use Reanimate with a Angakok, can anything in LA Atlantis use reanimate. or am I just getting memories muddled up?
Thanks in advanced.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
Anything with priest levels that's also an undead or a demon can reanimate.
Make an undead summon your prophet

That's impossible. Instead you should prophetize an undead you have summoned.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
Thats how I did it, it wasn't an Angakok, it was a Angakok/lich/prophet. Angakok Prophet+Anhk+death=Lich=Reanimate. Lol, now it makes more sense.
Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
Uh, seems like a lot of investment for summoning at best 5 undead horsemen a turn. As any undead commander could do it, I'd rather go for the cheapest one available.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
He didn't do that to create horsemen. It just happened and he wondered why he had a commander who could raise dead.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
Mound fiends do it fine. But they usually have better things to do.
I found a fun trick. Cast life after death with a bunch of independent priests in your army. If any get killed they come back as undead priests. Then you have cheap reanimators. It's not a game winning strategy but it's kind of fun.

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
I'm also wondering because i'm trying to flesh out a good undead strategy for LA Atlantis. If I get a few people doing reanimation then I get a couple dozen coral clad atlantean zombies every turn. Not quite a game winner but with the resource intensive Ice guards, expensive mournfuls and holy angakuts any extra troops are appreciated

Re: Raise Dead Questions.
Hmm. That just gave me an interesting idea. Why isn't there a zombie equivalent of the basic reanimation spell? (which is affordable in CBM)
