Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
EA Pangaea cares somewhat about treaties, but about own survival it cares even more. We signed NAP with mictlans, but their behavior was too provoking. The barbarian invasion allowed them to take one of our provinces while our forces were elsewhere, then they took another neutral province same turn we invaded in it, after that mictlans were "smart" enough to build a temple and a castle in that province near our own castle. Overall, at our opinion mictlans invested too much on early rush on neutral lands (without thinking about interests of others), otherwise having somewhere two times as much lands as EA Pangaea at the beginning of our war they won't have so much trouble fighting us. The pitfull results of mictlans warfare against our forces shows that the division of lands between us and them was not fair. It would be a grave decision to allow mictlans have time to gather fruits from such rush, so EA Pans decided to attack, rather than loose any reasonable chances for winning in several months.

Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
well its usually customary to give a 3-turn warning before breaking a NAP. That's what the "3" means in NAP-3.

We agreed on a NAP3, and I wasn't the one who made the offer!

It's not "wrong" to break a NAP - you just need to understand and accept the consequences of doing it.
Those consequences are that people will know that you break NAPs, and be less inclined to trust the NAPs they've signed with you.

Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
I am playing MA Pangaea and require a sub. I am having trouble finding one - if anyone here can think of a player out there who has an irrational need to get some relatively undemanding Pangaea-y [sp?] action - point them this direction as I can give them a short fix (3 or 4 turns max).

Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
I will have the current turn in today and hope to be able to announce a sub to play MA Pangaea for the subsequent 2 or 3 turns.

Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
2 Zapmeister: I understand the consequences, I am satisfied with them for now and I think I would be satisfied with them in future.
2 yandav: I made the offer, but I didn't thought you would wipe out strong neutrals which were much closer for me, than for you, also you should let me retake province that was taken by barbarians. At first months of war I invaded same provinces which I planned when I suggest NAP for you, in that time they were neutral, closer to me and well guarded. It's your rush saved many maenads from being killed by neutrals, it's you saved my money by building castle on land that was close to my borders when we signed pact. By too fast enclosing to my borders you saved my resourses and spent yours, and leaved me no logical choice but to spent my forses to attack your territories. Well, you've done well in case I would keep agreement - your faction would be one of the strongest, my one of the weakest. So I choosed a worse reputation than certain defeat. And I think that decision was predictable.

P.S. I think that I don't want reputation like "sign with him NAP and do completly anything, just don't invade his territory" anyway.

Re: Mind Blade - Multiera Random nations (started)
I may have found a sub for MA Pangaea.
Hopefully hosting will not need to be delayed over the course of next week - I have sent in the current turn.
