Long Campaign - Italy - 6/44 to 6/43

Yes, you can set up a Long (Historical) Campaign to run from 6/44 to 6/43 !! (at least, it says so on the campaign setup screen)

Game starts properly in 6/44, asking for east or italian front, and pitted me in Italy against Britsh ?!

I haven't played the whole things through to see what happens after the battle ...

As the long campaigns are more "scripted" than the "generically" generated campaigns, I wonder if it makes sense to allow a starting date later than the end date - is there any campaign data available at all for those months?

We'll look into it. All long campaign start dates max out around mid 1944 but it varies from nation to nation. Unfortunately, Italy also allows that mid 1944 start date even though it's one year after the end date. It's a bug that's slipped through for years and if anyone else noticed it they just corrected and didn't say anything to us
