Default Font question

Just got the CD edition (download). It looks and works great on my widescreen 1920x1080. The only problem is the font, whether in a window like scenarios or unit is so small it's very difficult to read especially for my old eyes. Same with the unit description at the bottom. Is there any way to keep the same res but increase font size and the windows?

Oh, and also, the small map in the lower right is so small it's pretty unusable.

The mini map is used to get from one place on the map to another in a hurry. It's not used to see your forces.

There is no way to increase the font size. The solution is "old eyes" ( I have old eyes too ...) to reduce your resolution.

I tried reducing the res but the font size in the windows stayed the same. I guess I'll squint.

Under start->all programs->accessories->ease of access, there's a magnifier tool

Its a bit clunky to use at first but it works with winSPWWII in the windowed wide screen mode.

Ok I found it. Then I programmed it to a button on my mouse. Works great. Thanks for the tip.

Three things:

-On Huge maps (scrolled minimap) is faster to get from one side to another using the game screen.

-The units into the minimap are using hard to see colors, It is a fact.
The solution could be to change the colors a bit.
Another possibility could be using the new small zoom level as the new minimap converting the units into high definition military symbols on that zoom level only. Or enlarge the flags at that zoom level only.

-The text in game is apparently changeable as we can see in a topic about a mod. So in a future the text size could be increased.

-Apparently nothing can be modified in this game when someone speaks about the text size or the minimap. And I consider those assumptions wrong, sorry.
