Yup. Married. Oh yeah, and a 2 month old daughter. You could say we have no life, but I would argue that we are doing just fine...

Re: Return of Shrapnel Party Thread
aahh, the withdrawal sysmptoms slowly start to recede, Mrs Mac, after pulling out her hair due to the most whining of Mr Mac, has warned him in no uncertain terms, that banging on his computer would not bring up the forum, nor would he get any more money for a new machine, So Mac who was consigned to the couch over the Last 24 hrs, due to his contant groaning, whining, and ugly display of language at his mechanical essance, has started to recover, the shakes and shivers are receding, the sweat has begun to dry, the language has cleared up, and he has stopped feeding his anatamy from boredom...
welcome back, Thank G.., its was starting to get scary....
just some ideas a recovering Mac

Re: Return of Shrapnel Party Thread
Finally!
Welcome back.
I had to play AoW2 for 2 days, which wasn't so bad, and read their forums, which wasn't so good.
Lol!

Re: Return of Shrapnel Party Thread
Next time, is it possible to have some low-cost PC back-up that will display a simple message "the web site is under routine maintance and will be back ASAP" (or something like this) ?
It was just too cruel and unexpected.
And yes, AOW2 is OK but both their forums sucks.

Re: Return of Shrapnel Party Thread
I was worried that my company had finally figured out I was reading this board from the office and decided to block access... good to know there was a mundane explanation.
Of course, while the board was down I played the game instead (although I've virtually won this game already, I didn't want to start a new one until the next patch is out, so I finished a sphereworld, got the Terrans to surrender & forced all of them onto the sphereworld; good way to fill the sphereworld with pop & weapon platforms quickly, not to mention mines & satellites).
