Sorry for the blast of messages.
That sword was doing a great job of protecting you from remote attacks like Fires from Afar and Seeking arrow. I needed to remove it not only to give myself an advantage in the battle, but to open you up to Murdering Winter (even though you're protected with 50% resistance it still does a lot of damage in 3-cold provinces) and soon Flames from Sky.

Re: BSoD (Newbie, LA, CBM 1.92) [Started!]
does that work well? i was thinking of employing it in another game-i was ulm, fighting mictlan. thought maybe my heavier armor would protect me. instead i used my pretender for fires from the sky and he got killed-there was a dome.
i'm not making this sh*t up. i am really this bad. would rain of stones have been a good move? the armies were big(me-200 units, him maybe 350-400)

I would say so yes. Rain of Stones is devestating on lightly armored. Also can do a hit and run depending on what he has. Single caster casts it and retreats.
 Also - 12 hour delay.

 | Ulm knocked out Bone Daddy in this game with his Dome of Fiery Death that was protecting his capitol -- even though BD had extra armor and a ring of fire (liches are susceptible to fire). Luckily, BD is immortal and bounced back the next turn, but I now have a no remote attack policy with my pretender. I actually had this policy from my first game when I unwisely mind hunted with my immovable sphinx pretender and got him feebleminded, but I really mean it this time
It's a good idea to try to figure out what dome someone might have and put in the appropriate defenses. |

 Matty,
Do my eyes deceive me or did one of your 1D communion boys cast Undead Mastery last turn? I knew communions were impress, but that's just scary. I'm glad my army didn't catch you last turn because I'm not sure I would have won with that in your back pocket.
