siege question
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I couldn't find it.
1. Can my stealthy Helheim units move from my sieged castle, to disappear into the mists?
2. For some reason, it looks as though I can "move" them (using the control key) to one of my own provinces. Will they have to fight the siege first?
3. If I break siege with some units and have others Move (unstealthed) into a friendly province, will the moving ones join the breaking of the seige before moving?
Thank you!

Re: siege question
You can sneak out of sieges, but you shouldn't be able to move out unstealthed. And no, they won't join.
What version of the game are you running?

Re: siege question
Thank you for your quick reply, Edi! I'm running 3.28, and a fairly recent version of CBM. I can give the order to move out, but have not run the turn, so not sure if the guys I'm giving the order to will actually move...
If I order them to sneak out, and they are detected, will they join the same fight as the army that is ordered to break siege? Or, will they just fight the sieging army?

Re: siege question
I'm not sure if it is even possible to detect an army sneaking out of a siege, but I suspect not. That's because it was not hiding in the province at the beginning of the turn.
There were two distinct siege/castle related movement order bugs that were fixed in patch 3.20 (see beginning of post #14 in the bug shortlist thread) and one of them was related to this.
Given that they are fixed, non-stealth units probably can't move out of the castle on hosting. Stealthy ones might be able to do so. You need to run the turn to see what happens.

Re: siege question
If my walls are breached, and I break the siege, with orders to retreat on the same turn that my opponent breaks into the fort, can I hope escape?

Re: siege question
Thanks for the tip, JonBrave! I'm afraid my rainbow mage won't stand up to the army of mammoths about to bash in my door! Besides, as Helheim, I prefer to sneak up behind my enemy, strike, and fade away...
