What " throws like a girl" REALLY means

I did my national service in the Norwegian AF (94-95), and we threw a live grenade during boot-camp. Later I went on to be a "terminal-assistant", booking plane-tickets, loading and unloading visiting transport-aircrafts, and sending goods with civilian planes. Once we sent a crate of "practice hand-grenades", actually blue-painted lumps of lead formed like pine-apple-grenades. The people on the air-port opened the parcel, due to the marking, and believed it was real grenades. Their reaction was quite funny. Managed to convince they were harmless, so they got sent eventually.

Yeah, not sure if it's NATO (or even international) standards but all dummy/practice ammo is light blue so you know what it is at a glance. Always fun when someone who doesn't know that sees a bomb or something and freaks out.
