There is a new message warning about entering a rough slope hex. Understandable and welcome since vehicles can break down in that type hex.

This message also comes out when there is a road going through that hex. So my question is, doesn't the road prevent breakdowns? And if so, the message shouldn't come out, should it?

Probably the road is just an image, not an actual terrain, i.e when you hover your mouse over the hex it doesn't show Road on the info but actually Rough instead.

Exclamation Re: New Message

Reporting the rough slope is part of that warning code but the reports of it while on a road is an issue that we just discovered ourselves about a month ago and it's on the list to investigate....it's detecting the rough under and around the road and it should not be ***so far*** I have not see a breakdown occur on a road/rough slope hex so once we dig into the code, messages like that on roadways will be stopped.
