Data Discrepancy

I attached a screen print showing a discrepancy between between data shown when right clicking on a unit and data shown for the unit when the I key is pressed.

This is in scenario 28.

Such discrepancy is normal.

The info when you right click, is the result of the scenario designer modifying the default unit data (that default unit data is what you get from pressing the I key).

Such modified unit is only applicable to that scenario or battle, not the entire instance the unit happens to exist in the game.

First off RightDeve is correct one is the unit in that scenario WHEN IT WAS CREATED and the other is the current encyclopaedia info...scenario 28 was made 16 years ago ( 2001 ) there will be a difference....MUCH has changed in the game in 16 years, cost structure one of them. I fix scenarios every release that show errors from OOB changed but it has to be a significant error to show up as a warning. A lot of the older scenario use a much different points system but they are still playable but there will be a difference between unit data from then to now and it's normal game evolution.

Secondly. IDK if you actually looked at that screen shot but it's a low quality JPG that is totally unreadable. You could have mentioned the unit number but I looked at the three Sturmpioniere in the scenario and those are stock Sturmpioniere from 2001.

The JPG screenshot looks OK to me and people I email pictures to, so it sounds like whatever you're using to view it has a problem with it or something happens during the upload. Anybody else have a problem viewing it?

If JPG is a problem what should I use?

I view it in Google Chrome

Hows that look to you ? That's how it looks to me..can YOU read it ?


The problem is Shrapnel only allows 97.7 kb per JPG and that doesn't leave much in the way of detail ...a full sized highest quality JPG of a widescreen shot is 30 times that size. If others can see what you posted in the first post sharp and clear I'd like to hear from them but the only way you can post a readable screen shot on this forum is to crop it down to the essentials you want viewed and hope it works...or zip it up as an attachment
