In MBT yuor tanks tend to have 90, 105 and 120mm main guns. Your artillery is engaging with 105, 155mm class weapons routinely. Vehicles have higher FC and tend to be stabilised.
So in MBT, infantry, weapons teams, and guns caught out in the open in LOS or hit with field artillery tend to die quickly.
That is the opposite of what you seem to be seeing, but is my experience of modern vs WW2.
