What the highest turn # you\'ve reached?
So who's the king of turn numbers? Who among you has converted every atmosphere, built a sphere world around ever star, then left a book on the F12 key for a week straight?

Re: What the highest turn # you\'ve reached?
Highest turn I've done was in the 3000s. Not turn number, YEAR number.
To be fair all I did was tape down the F-12 key in a custom map that had one system where I was the only player; I was trying to make SE4 spit out a Range Check Error. (it didn't)

I started to create a sphere...
Got all the cables & plates on-site and started to build...then won the game before it was completed.
Seems to take ages to build

Um, I'm afraid to ask (or try it):
What does the F12 key do?

Re: What the highest turn # you\'ve reached?
I think a couple of games on PBW have come close to 200 turns. Not anywhere near the other numbers I have heard for single player games, but not bad for a competative game.

Re: What the highest turn # you\'ve reached?
In a single player game, I've pushed upwards of 500-600 turns. I got tired of the game once the AI stopped posing as a punching bag and died. In that game I was building a massive highway system to speed up transport movements and converting planets.
In a multiplayer game, I think it ended at about turn 25 when I bypassed all my foe's systems and glassed the homeworlds. His tactics were flawed, he only built on smaller worlds for resupply and such, very little production outside his core worlds and he colonized a few planets. His ally then quit the game after a series of small battles.

Ok, (dope slap to my forhead)
F12 = End Turn
Tape it down and the game gets the fluffy bunnys.

Wouldn't you also have to tape down the enter key so that it selects "OK" when it says "Are you sure you want to end your turn?"
