Default Need help on IDing a ship.

This vessel has been called a Cardassian freighter, but if it is - it's non-canon:

What is it - really - and where did this picture come from?

I'm trying to make a mesh but I need more data.

Anyone help here?

TIA

That looks SNEAKINGLY like a color-changed hull form a ST: Voyager episode ... whiel Kes was still on the crew, IIRC. Big ship, really many smaller ships docked together, full of refugees from their dead/dying world.

Sorry I cannot remember more, but ... that's what it LOOKS like, to me.

I am pretty sure that was part of Warp Nine's origial Cardassian shipset. If we could find him maybe he could remember where he got it from. AFAIK he isn't around any more though, and I lost my link to his web site. If any other old timers remember him maybe they know how to contact him.

Yeah, I found it too. I emailed him. The site is still up but it appears to be not maintained any longer. I emailed him. Not sure if the email is still good.

I'm still scouring space; going where no man has gone before and so forth and so on.

Found it!

at Zorg Space http://www.zorgspace0001.com

Model Credits: 100% original textures, front of ship, mesh by Maggot. This model is based on the Cardassian freighter as seen on DS9. It's not exactly cannon, but it's just getting blown up over and over again anyway lol.

Model made/edited using: 3ds max3.1, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro

Thanks to those who tried.

Now ... if someone can tell me what app to use to putz with .mod files. 3D Studio Max? Gmax?

That ship is actually two ships. Yes it is a CANNON Cardassian Freighter from DS9, and the game BOTF. And also it surves, although slightly modified, as a Klingon Freighter for the game BOTF. BOTF is full of non-cannon ships, but sports the best non-cannon ships of any Star Trek Game say for SFC series.

That mesh is a download for SFC series. I can email it too you if you want it. That is if I can find it again. I do have it on my HD someplace.
