What's happening here!!

I'm on turn 2422.4, I finish doing all my stuff and end the turn. As it's going through the other players turns, the game stops, totally. I wait a few minutes, and when it doesn't go to the next players turn, I hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and the thing reads "Space Empires IV (not responding). WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! This problem is destroying one of my best games.

Have you tried rebooting? How much RAM do you have? What Version? Any mods?

I've installed both patches, have 96 mb of RAM and no mods. I've tried shutting down the game and restarting my computer but the problem is still there.

I had that happen to me before too, usually I let it run til it freezes, then select exit game, and come back in and hit resume, it usually works then...
If its just freezing up then try reinstalling the game entirely, I would say something got corrupted.
