Imprisoned Sacred Statue (We're in dire need of more Water-friendly pretenders)

The plan is to expand throughout the water, perhaps one or two heavilly defended Land provinces, plant a few Sirens in coastal provinces, and cast an item-assisted Lure of the Deep once my pretender wakes up. From there, conquer the water, then expand onto the land with (Preferrably) Mermidons and Trident Knights. The S5 opens up my options a bit and helps my land expansion with Imprint Souls. (If I have enough spare gold to boost PD into the stratosphere) Perhaps sending a Siren over to build a lab. Does all this sound okay?
