Played the Valley of Tears scenario...A decent scenario alltogather, although a tad easy for the Israeli side. Might want to consider reducing the ammount of 175mm support for the Israelis otherwise the really do kill around 20%-35% of the Syrian force. I have read Kahalnis Heights of Courage and I dont recall him writing much about having so much arty support, altough I might be wrong. He did give much credit to his FO officer that was killed in the fighting. Still a very nice scenario to play espcially for a ex 77th man like my self.
Also started playing the Soviet Israeli scenario bu honestly it feels a bit like a cavalry charge from the 19th century, not much room for fine tactics there and so much arty I had to leave the PC and go elsewhere for a while every time...A very intresting idea for a scenario, but perhaps somthing slightly more dynamic like a meeting encounter would be better? Still not a bad scenario if your into massive bloodbaths. IU flinch every time a tank lights up so maybe its my issues
Nice to see 1973 scenarios keep up the good work.
