I noticed something else in the game. I go to build a colony ship, and I select the 400KT size ship. It has the restrictions of the bridge and so forth so I fill that part of it up. It also has the restriction of 50% of space must be used for colony componants. So I put one on there and all is well. I fill up the rest of the space with cargo containers, etc. But when I use the Advanced Colonization mount and I put one on it's still needing 50% of the space for that.

Wait, as I was typing this I was messing around with it again to recreate the problem. And before I would put two colony things on it and it would be over the size limit because I had some other stuff in it. But now I just have the bare essentials and two fit fine, and that does the job. So nevermind. I was just tired Last night and didn't mess around enough.
