OK, this program won't really be all that useful, but if you want to make custom graphics for SE4 have no clue how to use any sort of rendering software this might be right up your alley...
Basically what this program will do is you specify a size, some colors, patterns, etc. and it generates a POV-Ray scene file (no need to worry about what that is if you don't know
) and calls POV-Ray (the renderer) to actually generate a graphic of your planet.
I know I'll actually finish this project because I decided to do it as a project for my Visual Basic programming class so if I don't finish it there will be an impact on my grade!
