The AI has been tamed a little with [none] Bonus games, when starting a game in AIC v3.00 or better.
If you have not upgraded yet, you may want to retry Bonus (none) the AI is less over bearing with most game starts with the default settings.

As I recall, you like the No Warp start games. All but a few of the AI might get boring in the none bonus. If this is the case, try a low bonus with that start.

If starting a game with the Centurion Ruins Map, please keep in mind the AI also will prosper from the Artifact finds, just as much as the Human Player. ~(AI-Hive with Light Cruisers, or AI-Terrans with Ice, etc. )~ Earlier then the designed plan.

It is strongly recommended that you start with a lower then usual Number of Computer Players, when starting a new game with the AIC Centurion Ruins map.
