Gaming Conventions

Heya people, ive been reading more and more about such conventions of board/rp/both games all over the place. i live in *points down* Calgary, Alberta, Canada and love such games

and im wondering are there any conventions/meetings/whatever i could go and research about and see if theres such a thing here.
