What strategies do you guys like?

What do you guys like to play in? Huge galaxies? Huge fleets? Small Galaxies? Small fleets? Intelligence attacks? LIghtning attacks? Economic control? Just wanted to know your thoughts..Do you guys roleplay your personnel race? Things like that?
