The Voynich Manuscript is old news. There are several dedicated sites with lots of information about it (including high-res pictures) and history of attempts to decipher it.
The
bloop is much more interesting. Just discovered a couple of years ago, (or was it only one yar ago?) it's an enormous noise that would require a real-life 'Godzilla' sized creature to make if it's from a living source. More likely it's coming from a volcanic vent or a tectonic fault groaning but what the hey... you can daydream about giant monsters.
