energy transmition lens and fighters.

I used to think ETL helps fighters with shields - add extra shield points to each fighter stack. Some people argued ETL add points to each fighter.
Others say it is nonsense and fighters do not benefit from ETL. So, what is true ?

I had a big battle in simult. game. It was in my system with ETL. Still, fighters died like snowflakes in Hell

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to assess what is really going on in simult. games battle replay
