Yeah, but even if it's true, that's kind of a skewed statistic because the difference is much greater the older you go and that throws the average off. For a single thrity something guy knowing that there are 7 over 30 women for every over 30 man doesn't really help when you consider a great portion of those over 30 women also happen to be over 50.

No offense to over 50 women at all, but as you said yourself your typical 30-something is looking for a 30-something woman. And the ratio of available 30-something women to single 30-something men I am sure is much lower then 7 to 1.

Of course if the man can stay healthy and single and live past his 50's then his chances will go WAY up.
