Assigning weapon Groups

So, there are 4 weapon firing Groups, 1 - 4.

How do you assign weapons to ones other than 1?

I would like to distinguish between firing the direct fire weapons from the missiles. There are better times for overloading point defence, but keeping up the direct fire is useful too...
