Sithrak Ships

Well I've just got the Sithrak mother ship to destroy then I think I'm done.
What's nagging me though is how useless the Sithrak ships are.
I'm flying a MkIII Abbidon Battle ship, with level 20 through 22 weapons, shields, and armour.
Against a Xiati Battleship I have to work reasonably hard and generally my 2000 point front shield has about 600 points left by the time the Xiati ship is wasted. Against a Xiati Battleship and Cruiser I'm into the armour.

However 2 Sithrak CriUsers plus a Sithrak Battleship can't even remove 10% of my shields before they're all toast.

Given the power of their weapons they should rip me apart but they don't. I now have fitted 2 null space beams and a pshyic flailer and they're devastating against most other ships, especially the flailer.

Is this another bug?

Still looks like the Meson cannon is the best weapon in the game. Good job its relatively low damage and low range, as its damage/weight/recharge rate isn't matched by anything else - even those wonderful Tachyon cannons.
Why anyone would fit Graviton Launchers, Gapital Missiles, or any other form of torpedos rather than plasma missiles I'll never understand.
