Best Starships...

Alright,i didn't find a topic about this.It must have come up in some time.Anyway,what is/are the best ship(s) and fighter(s) in the game? And why?
Plus what are the best ships in their classes like destroyers,cruisers,etc...If anyone wants to add anything feel free.
