Actually it was fairly simple to complete even on the hardest level with the crew killing weapons. They seem very, very powerful to me. Far more then any other weapon in the game. Even the null space cannons (which I both hate and love).

Now, if I can only find a way to get my hands on a Sithrak Dreadnaught I'll die happy...*
