dominion2 and terrain modification??

in dominion 1 terrain modified itself through your dominion : fertile lands appeared if your dominion was growth ...
hot and dry if your dominion was heat scaled ...
snow appeared if cold scaled ...

it seems this does not occur anymore in dominions 2 ?

too bad if that's the case, cause a god would like to see the world shaped as his image
