There is a small section about hosting in the manual; but it is far from what it should be. The Newbie Guide thread has alot of helpful information and the command line switches.

3) can I use my CD (license) also for the server or I need one more (I hope no, please ... 4 CDs are enough for 4 pepole and a serve, I hope!)
You can play and serve on the same computer/license. For the same computer you will have to check your router/ip settings, there is an old thread with some command switches that make it much easier.

4) Must the server be always running dom2 or I can just turn it on on sometimes (i was thinking to run it only in the evening, from 20 to 8 in the morning)
You can run the server whenever you want, you can also set the session times and host schedule so you don't *have* to turn it off and on, but that's up to you.
