Super-Casting Pretenders?

The pyrotechnic Phoenix is a longtime favorite of mine. Although I usually stick to 4-6 in fire and air, which is enough to deal all the damage you need early.

Ive read about the Super-Combatant Pretender builds; has the idea of a Super-Casting Pretender been explored?

The pure death PoD (death 6-9) is the one I use the most often. Astral/Death (6+/5) comes close - usually with a PoD, too.
