I left it out because it wasn't clear from the patch notes *how* deviation had been altered. (For example it's quite possible to have a new system for calculating deviation that would give fairly similar results.)

If it is indeed less deviation, then it will have those effects, which is nice. A large limitation of the usefulness of much battlefield magic is that it misses most of the time even at modest ranges - at least, it used to. We'll see now. A reduction in friendly fire would also greatly benefit the starting armies of some nations (Machaka comes to mind) - a mix of archers and LI is suicide in the old Versions.

I don't want to see every thread on this forum be hijacked into a clams thread, so I won't comment further on clams here.
