PBeM hosting bug?

In our PBeM game we had a strange error while hosting. From my first experiments with the error it looks like that the size total of the .plr files must not exceed 128 Kb or the game will produce an access violation and crash while processing the turn. We are using v1.35.
Has anyone noticed anything similar?
