I make fun of my mother-in-law saying she is from some alien moon and never got used to Earth hours. She does an entire day in 8 hours. Sleeps, works, etc etc.

Its been proven often enough (and Ive seen it personally many times) that you either want to get up or you dont. If you want to get up you wouldnt need the alarm, if your trying to sleep then no alarm will help.
