Yeah, I've been bitten by that a couple of times too, since I use three different computers at different times of day. Now, whenever I first log into a game, I always type in the wrong password the first try. Sometimes the "Wrong Password" screen flashes up too fast to see anything, but other times, you can actually see the screen with all the nation icons for a bit before the "Wrong Password" screen flashes up.
