We should have posted information about our Mod 1 year ago. We had planned on a beta by now, but due to the loss of data from a HD crash we are not close to a beta now.
The Galactic Conquest Mod is telling a story as well as providing a nice game experience we hope. It is about reckless Humans finally being able to colonize the galaxy, with 6-8 human races acting like all humans in history, making wars over resources and real estate, etc. The races are fictional, however they are based on real countries today. We attempted to predict who the world powers may be in the next 100 years and used this as a base for our human races.
Of course I forgot to mention the alien races will be unique and different as possible. We will be using some races from other games, moo series, galciv, homeworld, and a few others. There will be a mega evil race, along with a variety of races covering the possible life forms. We did hope to create brand new shipsets for all races. Due to the loss of data we will instead use some shipsets made by others until we can finish them. Akula is attending college many of you I am sure can relate.

These are some early ship previews to show some of the new ship models. The plans are new shipsets and races, components, planets, nebulas, Milky Way star names, new traits, and we hope some unique features by combining several ideas into our Mod.
Akula and I are hoping that the SEIV community will offer us some suggestions and/or help getting our Mod ready before SE V comes out.
Seriously any help would be appreciated, races we could use or whatever. You do not like our idea for a mod, tell us that as well. Always open for critics comments, try to offer a solution for the things you find wrong or not interesting, that would be ideal!
