Sorry to hear it. SEIV is a wonderful game with a lot of life still left in it. I may not play as much as I used too, but I still love the game.

I spent the better part of a month making all new federation ships sets for four federation races in the STM and I cannot even use them in SEV. So really SEIV is the better game for ship modelers.

I think of all the work I have put into ship sets and it makes me very depressed to know that I cannot use my models in SEV. So enjoy SEIV while you still can.
