nice to see your problem is solved dumbluck, now i got a problem with my modem.
I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything today, because programs kept crashing.
But somehow my modem doesn't want to work anymore, it installed properly, but when i try connect to the internet, it doesn't respond.
It really doesn't make sense, because i changed nothing about the modem.
On a somewhat related note, win98 sees my floppy drive as a PCI Comunication device which needs drivers to run properly. The floppy drive works ok now
any ideas on this ?
i'm on a laptop now, with a 800x600 screen
and the battery is pretty low, so i'll stop now
